South Bank Resort’s Lua Beach House Reimagines Dining, Leisure, and Lifestyle in Turks and Caicos

May 19, 2026 /

Set beside Turks and Caicos’ first ocean swimming lagoon, Lua Beach House invites guests to slow down and settle into the rhythm of lagoon living. Days unfold effortlessly here, from sun-filled mornings and lingering lunches to golden afternoons and evenings that glow long after sunset.

Formerly known as Lua Bar and Restaurant, Lua Beach House has evolved into an all-day dining and lifestyle destination, becoming the social heart of South Bank Resort on Long Bay. Since opening in November 2024, it has quickly earned a reputation as a must-visit on island and was named Restaurant of the Year 2025 at the TCHTA Star Awards, gaining popularity with both locals and visitors alike.

The refreshed concept reflects the natural rhythm of its setting, pairing relaxed island energy with a refined, contemporary edge. Inspired by the transition between daylight and moonlight, the design layers sandy neutrals, deep ocean blues, and warm sunset tones to create a space that feels effortless from morning through to night.

Guests can arrive for breakfast, stay through lunch, or linger into sundown with fresh seafood, island-inspired dishes, and globally influenced flavors. Signature traditions remain, including Friday pizza nights, now joined by Happy Hour on Thursdays and Saturdays, along with quarterly Caribbean Sunset Parties that bring the lagoon setting to life.

Families are part of the experience too. The newly opened Kids Club introduces playful, nature-inspired activities, including popular pizza-making workshops, giving parents the choice to join in or unwind while enjoying the easy rhythm of the Beach House.
