General & Booking

How can I make a reservation at Grace Bay Resorts?

You can book your stay by calling our reservations line at 1-800-946-5757, or via our website by selecting your desired resort and room type. We recommend booking early for peak travel periods to secure preferred dates and rates.

What is your cancellation policy?

Notice of cancellation must be received in writing 30 days prior to arrival. If received within the 7 – 30 day period, the deposit will be forfeited. If received within 6 days prior to arrival, full penalties apply and 100% non-refundable.

Are special offers or packages available?

Yes—we periodically offer resort credit packages, stay-more-save discounts, and seasonal perks such as breakfast included or room upgrades. Visit our “Offers” page or contact reservations for current deals. 

 

Arrival & Transport

How do I get from the airport to the resort?

Upon arrival at Providenciales International Airport (PLS), you may arrange a pre-booked private transfer, resort shuttle, or taxi. Many guests also rent a car to explore the island. Grace Bay Resorts partners with local car rental agency, Grace Bay Car Rentals, offering perks like complimentary airport pick-up and drop-off, 24-hour roadside assistance, and child car seats. Are rental cars recommended and what should I know?

Renting a car is highly recommended for exploring the island at your own pace. Driving is on the left. Be sure to purchase adequate insurance, check for local driving age and license requirements, and pay attention to rental agency policies on fuel and returns. 

What should guests know about local transport around Providenciales?

Apart from rental cars there are taxis. Note that public transport is limited, especially in off-peak hours. If you plan multiple outings (restaurants, excursions, sunset cruises), a rental car or dedicated transport service offers the most flexibility. The Grace Bay Resorts concierge team are on hand to assist with booking taxis. 

Is parking available at the resorts?

Yes. Free self-parking is available for hotel guests at each resort in the Grace Bay Resorts collection. 

Safety & Regulations

What happens in case of a hurricane or severe weather?

The Turks & Caicos Islands can be affected by tropical weather between June and November. We monitor conditions closely. If a storm is forecasted, you’ll receive direct communication about any resort operational changes, potential evacuation procedures, or safety protocols. Travel insurance is strongly recommended for bookings during the hurricane season. 

Are there medical facilities nearby?

Yes. On Providenciales, there are modern medical clinics and a hospital for emergencies. If you require assistance during your stay, our resort team will help arrange transportation or support. 

Accommodation & Accessibility

Do the resorts offer accessible rooms and facilities?

Yes. Each resort in the Grace Bay Resorts portfolio offers one or more accessible rooms with features such as roll-in showers, grab bars, lowered sink heights, and doorways complying with local accessibility standards. Public areas, including restaurants and pool decks, accommodate guests with mobility needs. Please specify your requirements at the time of booking to ensure best availability. 

What accessibility features are available for guests with hearing or vision impairments?

The resorts offer accessible room features such as visual alarms for the hearing-impaired, tactile signage in public areas, and staff trained in assisting guests with mobility, hearing or visual support needs. Let us know your specific requirements at booking so we can best accommodate you. 

Are there special considerations for guests with dietary restrictions or allergies?

Yes. Our restaurants can accommodate many dietary needs—including gluten-free, vegetarian, vegan, nut allergies and kosher upon request. Please notify us in advance or at check-in so our culinary team can prepare accordingly. 

Is Wi-Fi included? 

Complimentary high-speed Wi-Fi is available throughout the resorts, guest rooms and public spaces. 

Family & Group Travel

Are families with children welcome? What amenities are provided?

Absolutely! Families are welcome, and we offer a range of amenities tailored to children and teens: complimentary cribs or roll-away beds (on request), child-friendly menus, family swimming areas, and organized kids’ activities during peak holiday periods. Babysitting services are available (advance notice required; additional fee applies). 

Is on-site childcare or kids’ club available?

Yes. We offer a supervised kids’ club during high season (ages 4–12) with activities like island treasure hunts, nature walks, and arts & crafts. Babysitting services for younger or older children can also be arranged (advanced notice required). 

I’m planning a group or wedding stay—do you offer group rates?

Yes. We specialize in weddings, family reunions, and group travel. Our dedicated events team can help coordinate room blocks, group dining, event space, and resort activities. Please contact our group sales department for a custom proposal at sales@gracebayresorts.com. 

Seasonal & Island Logistics

When is the best time to visit the Turks & Caicos Islands?

For ideal weather and fewer crowds, the sweet spot is late April to early June and late November to mid-December. Peak season runs from December through March (higher rates, more availability constraints). The rainy/hurricane season is June through November (though many guests still travel then and enjoy value rates). 

How is the local climate & what should I pack?

Expect year-round warmth (high-90s °F to mid-70s °F). Pack light clothing, swimwear, a light jacket for cool evenings, and sun protection (hat, SPF, sunglasses). Rain showers are possible—especially in summer—so a lightweight rain jacket can be handy. 

Are there family-friendly beaches or shallow water areas?

Yes. Grace Bay Beach offers calm, shallow waters, making it ideal for families and children. Many of our resorts also have designated children’s pools and family-friendly beachside activities. For older kids/teens, we can recommend watersports, snorkeling, or island adventure tours. 

Do I need to worry about bugs or mosquitoes?

Mosquitoes can be present, especially in summer/early fall and near vegetation/wetlands. We recommend bringing mosquito repellent, wearing light long-sleeves outdoors around dusk, and keeping doors/windows closed, when possible, in the evenings. In-room insect screens are standard. 

What happens if my flight arrives late or is delayed?

If you experience a delayed arrival, please contact our front desk with your flight number and revised ETA. We’ll hold your room and assist with late check-in. If you arrive after midnight, please let us know so we can ensure your room is ready and arrange key access. 

How can I stay connected while on the island (mobile data / international calls)?

Many major mobile carriers offer roaming on Providenciales but be sure to check your international plan before leaving home. Alternatively, local SIM cards or mobile hotspot devices can be purchased at the airport or in town for data access. Free resort Wi-Fi is available as mentioned above, and complimentary local and long-distance calls are also available for guest convenience. 

Transport & Excursions

Can you help arrange island excursions, boat trips, or diving?

Absolutely. Our concierge team, in partnership with Caicos Luxury Charters, can assist with booking a wide range of excursions—including snorkeling, diving, sailing, fishing, eco-tours to Half Moon Bay, and visits to nearby islands such as North Caicos and Middle Caicos. Early scheduling is recommended during high season to ensure availability.

What sustainability practices are in place?

Will I have access to the beach and other resort amenities?

Yes. Guests enjoy full access to their resort amenities, including beaches, pools, fitness centers, spas, restaurants, and bars, unless otherwise noted for maintenance. While Grace Bay Resorts offers a pristine stretch of Grace Bay Beach, we also feature distinct waterfront experiences at Rock House and South Bank, each with its own unique setting. Hours and availability may vary by season, so please check with the resort front desk upon arrival. 

How can I book a rental car during my stay?
